In Carmaux was an important open mining site. 1997 was the end of the exploitation. Now it's an amusement parc...but on the sides, some of the big machines are still standing like monsters...

I like sunny days....
Went with my car in the "Col du Donon", 700m High, and then by foot to the "Donon", 1000m High...2 hours walking...for 2.1 km ! Well not very efficient.
After finding this magical Spot, main problem was the amount of insects flying around and sitting on the pitch Antenna or my hand !!! And not only this, those instect were wasps !
So I have to think about an insect shield for my antenna...

It was the Music Festival.
I began at 6pm in Saverne for a 1 Hour Gig. Then drive to Haguenau...and played for almost 3 hours !
The most pleasant thing about it ? Everyone was interested about this instrument, Low-Middle-High Class people...from every ages...
A thereminist who play has to prepare himself for answering questions... :
- How does this thing works ?
- how do you call it ?
- is it expensive ?
- did you make this yourself ?
- is it difficult to play ?
- is it dangerous ?
- CAN I TRY IT PLEEEAAASE !

Usefull thing to know : if a 5mm insect flies at less than 30mm to your pitch Antenna, it will affect the note you're playing !
